A single fully upholstered sofa module with a deep seat, softened edges, and fluted or smooth surface detailing. Designed in Copenhagen by NORR11 and handcrafted in Italy.

The NORR11 Studio Sofa 1 is the entry point of the Studio Sofa system — one module sized as a generous loveseat that can stand alone or expand into a larger configuration over time. Upholstery options include textile, eco-conscious fabrics, and Sørensen Leather in either fluted or smooth finish.

Click-Link expansion and adjustable armrests

Each module is upholstered on all sides and connects to other Studio Sofa modules through NORR11's concealed Click-Link system, allowing the configuration to grow without permanent fixing or tools. Armrests move independently of the module structure.

Italian construction, layered foam

The internal structure is solid and the foam is layered for high resilience, maintaining seat shape and support through extended daily use. Handcrafted in Italy.

• Click-Link Connection System – NORR11's concealed linking mechanism joins modules without hardware showing at the surface, allowing the sofa to expand into a larger configuration or separate back into a standalone unit without leaving marks or gaps.
• Fully Upholstered on All Sides – Every face of the module is finished, so the back of the sofa reads as cleanly as the front — practical for floating placement in the center of a room rather than against a wall.
• Movable Armrests – Armrests are not fixed to the frame; they can be repositioned or removed when adding modules, so the sofa's endpoint adjusts to the final configuration rather than being fixed at purchase.
• Fluted or Smooth Upholstery Finish – The fluted surface creates vertical texture that breaks up the visual weight of the module; the smooth finish sits quieter. Both use the same underlying form, so the choice is purely about surface character.
• Layered Foam Cushion Core – The seat cushion uses multiple foam densities to deliver initial give followed by firmer underlying support — suited for extended sitting without the seat bottoming out over time.
• Solid Internal Frame, Handcrafted in Italy – The internal structure is built for long-term load-bearing across the full seat width, reducing the risk of frame flex or joint loosening that affects lower-construction modular sofas.
• Eco-Conscious Fabric and Sørensen Leather Options – Upholstery choices include performance-tested sustainable textiles and full-grain Sørensen Leather, allowing the sofa to be specified for both residential and higher-traffic hospitality settings.

Curbside Delivery

This item ships from Europe via insured freight. Delivery is to your front door — for multi-unit buildings, delivery is to the building entrance. A signature is required upon arrival. All US import duties and tariffs are covered by KANSO. Your order arrives fully cleared with no additional charges at delivery.
