The ferm Living Rico Divan is built on a low frame with no defined transition between the backrest and the seat — the upholstered surface curves outward at the top, narrows toward the base, and runs as one uninterrupted plane from back to front edge. No exposed legs or structural lines break the silhouette.
Seat depth supports upright or reclined sitting
The seat depth and backrest angle accommodate both posture types without an adjustment mechanism. The frame sits close to floor level throughout.

Bouclé over a curved upholstered frame
The Rico Divan is fully upholstered, with no exposed legs or structural lines — the form is carried entirely by what covers it, so the textile matters more here than on a sofa with a visible frame. Underneath is a moulded-foam structure over an FSC-certified inner wooden frame, shaped to hold the continuous curve from backrest to front edge. The upholstery is bouclé, a fabric woven from deliberately uneven yarn to produce its looped, textured surface; it suits the Divan's rounded form, catching light across the curve rather than lying flat. ferm Living offers the Rico in fabric groups that move from the house's own Soft Bouclé through to wool-rich and Kvadrat textiles, so the same form can be specified soft and pale or deeper and more textured.
