New Works Kizu Table Lamp, Portable

A portable lamp that balances a white acrylic half-sphere upside down on a solid marble base. The New Works Kizu Table Lamp, Portable throws a smooth, warm light from the whole upper shade with no glare, and the polished marble is pleasant in the hand when the lamp moves from table to bedside. A recessed metal circle set into the top is the dimmer: tap it to step through three levels of light. Lars Tornøe designed the Kizu series for New Works as a bold combination of geometric forms.

Each marble base is cut from natural stone, so the veining differs from lamp to lamp. The battery runs about ten hours at full brightness and recharges over USB-C with the cable included.
