A low table on a cross-base of intersecting planes, available in solid oak, solid walnut, or veined marble. Designed by Danielle Siggerud for Audo Copenhagen.
The Audo Copenhagen Androgyne Lounge Table is built on a base of intersecting planes that meet at the center, keeping the structure visually open from every angle. The wood versions show natural grain across the base and tabletop; the marble version carries distinct veining that varies between individual pieces. Joinery at the base intersection is concealed, with no visible hardware on the exterior.
Use and placement
The proportions allow use as a coffee table, display surface, or low bench. The solid wood and marble versions carry enough material weight to remain stable without wall anchoring.

Audo Copenhagen Androgyne Lounge Table Spec Sheet (PDF)
- Cross-Base from Intersecting Planes – The base is formed from two flat planes crossing at a right angle, creating a low, X-shaped structure that reads as structurally resolved from every viewing angle — the form is as considered from the side as from above.
- Solid Oak, Walnut, or Marble Construction – The material choice shifts the table's visual and physical weight significantly — oak reads as warm and natural, walnut as richer and darker, marble as cool and mineral — while the cross-base geometry remains constant across all three.
- Multi-Use Format at Low Height – The table's proportions allow it to function as a coffee table, a low bench, or a display surface for sculptural objects — the low stance and solid construction support multiple use interpretations without requiring modification.
- Precise Construction Across All Materials – The joinery between base planes and tabletop is consistent across wood and stone versions, maintaining visual precision at the point of connection where tolerance variation is most visible.
- Designed by Danielle Siggerud – The Androgyne Lounge Table is part of the series alongside the dining table and side table, sharing the same base philosophy — proportion and material character rather than decorative detail as the design driver.
