A two-hemisphere pendant lamp where the lower dome catches and reflects light from the upper — the Flowerpot, designed by Verner Panton for &Tradition in 1968 and produced today to the original specification. Metal shade with downrod and ceiling canopy.
The &Tradition Flowerpot VP1 Pendant carries the geometry that made the original a Danish design icon: two metal hemispheres mounted as a stacked pair, with the smaller upper dome reflecting light into the larger lower one rather than letting it escape upward. The light emerges diffused through the lower hemisphere with no exposed bulb, no concentrated hotspot, and no glare at standing height beneath the fixture.
Dimmable with a separately sold ELV dimmer
The pendant is dimmable when paired with an ELV (electronic low-voltage) dimmer, sold separately. The downrod-and-canopy mount installs to a standard electrical canopy and hangs at the height specified at installation.
