The ferm Living Mineral Sculptural Table is shaped in 100% Bianco Curia marble. The edges are broken by hand with a chisel, leaving a rough, irregular line where the polished face meets the perimeter. The contrast between the smooth top and side faces and the raw chiseled edge is the defining detail, and the chisel pattern varies slightly from table to table.

Returns
Due to the size and fragile nature of this item, it is not eligible for return once delivery is complete. Please inspect all pieces upon arrival and note any damage on the delivery receipt before signing. Any damage identified at delivery will be resolved directly.
Product questions
We carry the Mineral table because it does a specific job that larger marble pieces cannot: it brings real stone into a room at a scale that works beside a chair or a bed, without the weight or commitment of a marble coffee or dining table. The T-shaped base and the contrast between the polished faces and the chiseled edge give it enough presence to read as an object on its own, so it holds a corner whether or not anything sits on top of it. As an authorized ferm Living retailer, we source each table directly from the brand. It pairs well with low upholstered seating and quieter textiles, where the hard, permanent stone becomes the one fixed element in an otherwise soft arrangement.
Solid Bianco Curia, quarried and worked in Italy
Bianco Curia is a pale Italian marble with a soft, even ground and faint grey veining, quarried and fabricated in Italy. The Mineral Sculptural Table is cut from it as a single solid mass rather than a stone veneer over a lighter core, which is why the piece weighs close to 99 pounds at side-table scale and needs no internal structure or anchoring. The polished top and side faces are finished to a low, quiet sheen, then the perimeter edges are broken by hand with a chisel. That last step is where the cost sits: the chiseling is done one table at a time and cannot be machined, so the rough line where the polished face meets the raw edge is slightly different on every piece. The buyer is paying for solid stone and a hand process, not a marble-look surface.
