Bouclé over a steel and FSC-certified frame
The Rico Sofa is built on a structure made for a primary, everyday sofa: a backrest of moulded foam over an inner steel structure, and a seat of PU foam over an FSC-certified inner wooden frame. The standard upholstery is bouclé, a fabric woven from deliberately uneven yarn to give it a looped, textured surface; on the Rico's rounded form it catches light across the curve rather than lying flat. ferm Living offers the Rico in fabric groups that move from the house's own Soft Bouclé through cotton-linen blends, velvets, and wool-rich Kvadrat textiles, so the same sofa can be specified pale and soft or deeper and more hard-wearing. As a made-to-order piece, each Rico is built to the chosen fabric after the order is placed.
