The Hasami Porcelain Mug in Natural is fired without glaze, leaving the bare porcelain-clay body exposed — a dry, fine-textured surface with a tactile grip that smooth glazed ceramics don't have, and one that develops character as it ages. The dense Amakusa-stone body gives the mug noticeable weight, walls of consistent thickness, and a rim that resists chipping under daily use.

The mug stacks flush with other Hasami pieces of the same 3.4-inch diameter, integrating with bowls, plates, and the wood lid system across the ceramic and wood line. Microwave-, dishwasher-, and food-safe.
