The Audo Copenhagen Pavot Centerpiece is a long, shallow vessel raised on a short turned stem, its footed base drawn from the seed head of a poppy, pavot in French. Colin King designed the Pavot collection for Audo Copenhagen, and at nearly 19 inches across the centerpiece is its widest piece.
Each piece is cast in aluminum, finished by hand and electroplated in a brown bronzed patina, then assembled and checked by hand. Set it down the middle of a dining table or console with fruit, dried flowers or a single branch, or leave it empty as a sculptural object. This edition (item 71291-018794) is food-safe.
