The Audo Copenhagen Pavot Vase takes its silhouette from the seed head of a poppy ("pavot" means poppy in French), the rounded, slightly tapered form scaled to vase proportions. Cast aluminum in a bronzed finish carries the casting character across the exterior, with the texture and tonal depth of cast metal rather than smoothed or polished surface.

The vase holds single-stem or sparse arrangements through the narrow opening at the top, or stands as a standalone object. The bronzed cast finish reads as substantial against shelf, table, or console placement.
