Ib Kofod-Larsen designed The Penguin in 1953, and Audo makes it again today. The Audo Copenhagen Penguin Wooden Lounge Chair sets the chair's curved back, form-pressed from oak veneer, on a frame of solid oak, and keeps it compact enough for a small living room or a bedroom corner.
Choose an upholstered seat, which leaves the oak back on show, or a fully upholstered seat and back. The frame comes in natural or red stained oak, and the upholstery in Logan by Yarn Collective, in Fossil (a light oatmeal) or Nutmeg (a warm brown), or in Aida leather, 0250 (cognac) or 0329 (dark brown). Each chair is made to order and finished with a clear lacquer.
