The Brass Extinguisher works as a tabletop object as much as a tool, made to be left out between uses rather than tucked into a drawer. It is solid brass with a matte polish finish rather than a lacquered coating, cast into one slender handle that smothers a candle's flame instead of requiring you to blow it out. Trine Andersen, ferm Living's founder, designed it, and as a natural material the brass will develop a patina over time.
