The Oyster Wall Lamp sits against the wall like a piece of sculpture, its curved aluminum form catching light and shadow across a rough, uneven surface. That texture comes from sand-casting recycled aluminum and finishing it with a black patina, and a concealed LED strip is hidden inside the form rather than exposed as a visible bulb. ferm Living's design team based the shape on a favorite earring belonging to founder Trine Andersen, developed into its final cast form through the studio's paper-folding studies.
