The ferm Living Grotto Piece is cast from recycled aluminum with the texture left intact from the mold — the surface reads more like geological rock than poured metal, with no smoothing or polishing applied after casting. The asymmetrical form varies in surface depth and contour, reading differently from each viewing angle.
Freestanding on any flat surface
The Grotto Piece stands independently on flat surfaces without a base or mount. Each viewing angle presents a different profile against the surroundings.
