The Hasami Porcelain Ash Tray is solid ash, cut to the diameters of the porcelain line from 3 3/8 to almost 12 inches, and it works as a lid, a trivet or a plate. Each size stacks with the bowls, mugs and plates that share its diameter. Takuhiro Shinomoto of Tortoise in Venice, California designed it as part of Hasami Porcelain's stacking system.
