A blend of crushed Amakusa stone and porcelain clay, fired with iron-rich pigment carried through the body and finished unglazed. Made in Hasami, Japan.

The Hasami Porcelain Tall Bowl in Unglazed Black has a dry, finely textured exterior in matte black, with the color worked into the clay rather than applied as a surface finish. The straight-sided profile holds its volume for grain, soup, or layered dishes without tapering at the rim.

Stacks within the Hasami range

The bowl stacks flush with other Hasami pieces of the same diameter — bowls, plates, and the wood lid system — and accepts the oak tray (sold separately) as a cover or serving surface. Microwave-, dishwasher-, and food-safe.

Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery. Items must be unused and in original packaging.
