The Hasami Porcelain Tall Bowl in Unglazed Black has a dry, finely textured exterior in matte black. The color is worked into the clay rather than applied as a surface finish. The straight-sided profile holds its volume for grain, soup, or layered dishes without tapering at the rim.
Stacks within the Hasami range
The bowl stacks flush with other Hasami pieces of the same diameter — bowls, plates, and the wood lid system. It accepts the oak tray (sold separately) as a cover or serving surface. Microwave-, dishwasher-, and food-safe.
- Unglazed Porcelain Exterior – The bare, unfired surface is left intentionally raw, producing a dry, matte texture that is distinct from glazed ceramics and develops a subtle patina with regular handling over time.
- Straight-Sided Tall Profile – The vertical walls maximize interior volume relative to the bowl's footprint, making it practical for soups, noodles, or grains that would overflow a shallower form of the same diameter.

- Dishwasher-Safe Construction – The dense porcelain body withstands repeated machine washing without surface degradation — the matte finish does not chip or cloud the way some glazed surfaces do under heat and detergent.
- Oak Lid Compatibility – The rim diameter is designed to accept a separately sold oak lid, converting the bowl into a covered vessel for storage or keeping food warm at the table.

Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery. Items must be unused and in original packaging.
