A welded steel frame wrapped in handmade, translucent linen forms the lamp's continuous cylindrical column, set on a base of ash wood. Norm Architects designed it for Audo Copenhagen after visiting traditional Japanese washi paper makers, naming the piece for the Japanese word for column or pillar.
