A candle holder built from three geometric elements — sphere, rod, and disc — arranged in deliberate offset rather than alignment. Designed by Colin King for Audo Copenhagen.
The Audo Copenhagen Interconnect Candle Holder reads as a small sculpture that happens to hold a candle. The three primary elements sit visibly separate rather than blended into a single shape. The offset configuration treats the asymmetry as the design rather than a flaw to be corrected. The candle sits upright within the disc element at the top.
Polished brass or powder-coated steel
Polished brass reflects light across the sphere and rod surfaces, producing visible reflections from any angle. Powder-coated steel keeps a consistent matte finish across all three elements, reading more graphic and less reflective. Both versions accommodate a single standard taper candle.
