It is hand blended and poured in California from a soy wax blend, finished with a cotton wick for a clean, even burn. Maison Louis Marie was founded in 2013 by Marie du Petit Thouars, whose family lineage traces to the 18th-century French botanist and explorer Louis Marie Aubert du Petit Thouars.

For an even burn, it is recommended to light your candle for 2 hours during the first use. To maintain the fragrance, avoid burning the candle for more than 3 hours at a time. Before each use, trim the wick to less than 1/4 of an inch to prevent any black smoke or residue from forming on the glass.
