The Maison Louis Marie Le Refuge d'Ernest Candle opens with applewood, amber, and citron, followed by a heart of clove leaf, canella bark, and white birch. Oakmoss, sandalwood, and cedarwood form the base, producing a dry, woody finish with a resinous character that deepens as the top notes fade. The fragrance follows a clear three-stage arc, from bright fruit through spice to dry wood, across the burn.

60-hour burn, limited edition, free from parabens, sulfates, and phthalates

An 8.5 oz soy-blend wax with a cotton wick delivers up to 60 hours of even burn, hand-poured in California. Released as a limited edition, the formula is free from parabens, sulfates, and phthalates, with the wood base holding through the full burn rather than letting the citrus top notes dominate.

For an even burn, it is recommended to light your candle for 2 hours during the first use. To maintain the fragrance, avoid burning the candle for more than 3 hours at a time. Before each use, trim the wick to less than 1/4 of an inch to prevent any black smoke or residue from forming on the glass.
