The Maison Louis Marie No.03 L'Etang Noir Candle opens with anise and tobacco flower, moving into a heart of clove and ginger. Vanilla and tonka form the base, introducing sweetness without softening the spiced character. The result is a dry, aromatic composition where the spice notes stay present through the full arc rather than giving way to the sweeter base.

60-hour burn, paraben- and phthalate-free

An 8.5 oz soy-blend wax with a cotton wick delivers up to 60 hours of even burn, hand-poured in California. The formula is free from parabens and phthalates, with the tobacco and spice notes remaining legible as the base warms through the burn.

For an even burn, it is recommended to light your candle for 2 hours during the first use. To maintain the fragrance, avoid burning the candle for more than 3 hours at a time. Before each use, trim the wick to less than 1/4 of an inch to prevent any black smoke or residue from forming on the glass.
