The Maison Louis Marie No.03 L'Etang Noir Candle opens with anise, nutmeg, and tobacco flower, warms through clove, ginger, and vanilla, and settles into tonka and benzoin musk for a rich, spiced gourmand. It is hand blended and poured in California from a soy wax blend, finished with a cotton wick for a clean, even burn. L'Étang Noir, French for "the black pond," is named for a personal memory of a black lake.

For an even burn, it is recommended to light your candle for 2 hours during the first use. To maintain the fragrance, avoid burning the candle for more than 3 hours at a time. Before each use, trim the wick to less than 1/4 of an inch to prevent any black smoke or residue from forming on the glass.
