Description
The Audo Copenhagen Marble Plinth Coffee Table is assembled from 18mm marble slabs with mitered 45-degree joints, the corners disappearing so it presents as a continuous stone volume rather than five panels. The hollow core drops the weight without reducing the visual mass. It comes in Nero Marquina, White Carrara, Calacatta Viola, Grey Kendzo, or Kunis Breccia, each veined to its block. Drawn by Norm Architects.
All surfaces are honed rather than polished, kept flat and non-reflective, with a protective sealant guarding against staining and liquid absorption, so the marble looks raw but is not.
