Description
The Audo Copenhagen Bottle Grinder leaves no ring of dust on the table between uses. Its ceramic grinding mechanism sits at the top of the bottle rather than the base, catching ground spice as it falls back inside. The ceramic burrs never lend a metallic taste, holding their edge against salt where steel would corrode. Coarseness adjusts from fine to coarse with a twist of the top, and the rounded base sits comfortably in one hand.
The grinder comes in a silicone, smooth ceramic, or brushed metal exterior, each with a different grip and weight on the table. It grinds far more than pepper — salt, peppercorns, dried spices, grains, nuts, seeds, and dried fruit — through a mechanism wide enough for all of them. It was designed by Kasper Rønn and sold as a set of two.
