New Works Karl-Johan Table Lamp

The New Works Karl-Johan Table Lamp sets a soft, rounded glass shade on a short solid base, a form Signe Hytte drew from autumn walks spent looking for wild mushrooms. Two pairings: smoked glass on Black Marquina marble, which lets the bulb show through as a warm glow, or white opal glass on smoked oak, which spreads the light evenly across the shade.

Each marble base is cut from natural stone, so the veining varies from lamp to lamp. The lamp takes an LED bulb of up to 7W, sold separately, and comes with a black fabric cord.
