Description & details
The Kite Pendant casts a soft, ambient glow through layered geometric panels rather than a single flat plane of light. Folded Tyvek sheets, glued onto polyethylene, form each panel, and the whole shade hangs from a cast metal fitting. Panter & Tourron designed it for New Works in 2023, using hand-applied taping along each panel's edge as both structural reinforcement and visible linework.
