The Lantern Pendant diffuses its light evenly across the shade, with no single bright spot showing through the glass. Frosted opal glass, pressed with a gentle ribbed texture, gives that even diffusion in place of the paper such lanterns traditionally use. Anderssen & Voll designed it for New Works, recasting the traditional rice-paper lantern shape in glass rather than paper.
