Adjust the pleats and the Nebra Pendant changes shape in your hands, opening into a wide cone, closing to a cylinder, or turning over into an upside-down cone. Each position changes the diameter of the shade and with it the character of the light, moving from a soft glow that fills a room to a tighter pool over a table. The shade is a pleated PES textile that reads like paper but holds up better than paper would, worked over an aluminum and steel frame that holds whatever position you leave it in. Lukas Bazle designed it for New Works.
