Description
The NORR11 Hippo Dining Chair holds its backrest slightly apart from the seat, a floating element rather than one continuous shell. The frame is solid, FSC-certified oak finished in a water-based clear lacquer, while the seat itself is built from laminated veneer plywood. Kristian Sofus Hansen and Tommy Hyldahl designed the chair in 2021, part of the same Hippo collection named for the rounded, hippopotamus-like shape the seat and back form when viewed from behind.
