The Sancerre Saucer carries a plain, unadorned white profile that pairs with its matching cup for everyday coffee or tea service. Pillivuyt fires the hard-paste porcelain at 2550 degrees Fahrenheit, producing a dense body and a glaze hard enough to resist chipping, scratching, and crazing under daily use. Pillivuyt has produced porcelain in Mehun-sur-Yèvre, France, since the company's founding in 1818, and the Sancerre line carries that same hard-paste tradition forward in an unadorned shape.
