—Description & details
The Sentiment Paper Weight takes the rounded, slightly irregular shape of a ripe pear, weighting down papers or standing alone as a small object on a shelf or desk. It is cast in brass from a hand-shaped form, then finished with an antiqued treatment that darkens its surface. Colin King designed the piece for Audo Copenhagen, drawing on the pear and fruit motifs common in traditional still-life painting.
