Description
The Audo Copenhagen Zet Storage System, 60 in. holds books and objects on open shelving that reads as a light frame rather than a solid cabinet. Diagonal steel struts form the frame's structure, while oak veneer shelves rest across it and a textile-wrapped MDF panel closes the back. KaschKasch, the German studio founded by Florian Kallus and Sebastian Schneider, designed the system from two basic parts, meant to be assembled, taken apart, and reconfigured as storage needs change.
- Built from just two repeating parts: oak veneer shelves and a powder-coated steel frame
- Diagonal Z-shaped steel struts form the frame's structure, the source of the system's name
- Textile-wrapped, TSCA-compliant MDF back panel
- Each shelf rated to hold up to 39 kg (about 86 lb)
- Modular: can be assembled, taken apart, and reconfigured
