An open-profile modular shelving system with U-shaped wood shelves on a slender metal frame, designed by Norm Architects for Audo Copenhagen.
The Audo Copenhagen Zet Storage System pairs U-shaped wooden shelves with a slender metal frame, with no back panels and no cross-bracing. The frame carries the load through the side uprights alone, keeping the unit open from front, back, and sides. The shelf surfaces sit fully exposed.
Configurable without fixed installation
The system expands, contracts, or rearranges by adding shelves or repositioning the frame, with no wall fixing required. Each component is sold separately so the configuration can change over time without replacing the full unit. Available in a range of wood and metal finish combinations.

- U-Shaped Wooden Shelf Units – Each shelf is a continuous U-profile in wood, providing a structural form that spans between the metal uprights without requiring a separate bracket behind the shelf — the shelf and its support are one element.
- Slender Metal Frame – The uprights are proportioned to be structurally sufficient without visually dominating the shelving system — the contents of the shelves are the visual focus, not the frame that holds them.
- Modular and Reconfigurable – Additional shelves can be added or the layout adjusted without replacing the frame — the system grows or changes with the space rather than requiring a new purchase to accommodate different storage needs.
- Designed by Norm Architects – Norm's approach to the Zet system treats shelving as an architectural element — the proportions are derived from the relationship between the shelf depth, frame width, and typical object scale rather than from aesthetic preference alone.
- Compatible with Multiple Finishes – Available in wood and metal finish combinations that allow the system to sit within or contrast against different interior color schemes.
Curbside Delivery
Complimentary curbside freight delivery – 4 to 6 business days. Delivery is to your front door. For multi-unit buildings, delivery may be inside the building entrance but not to a specific apartment door. A signature is required.
