Description
The Hasami Porcelain Mug in Gloss Gray has a smooth, glossy surface in an even gray, with a bare, unglazed rim and base that reveal the raw clay beneath. The glossy glaze is fired over a dense body of Amakusa pottery stone and porcelain clay. Takuhiro Shinomoto designed the piece as part of Hasami Porcelain's original line, developed in Nagasaki using traditional Japanese firing methods.
